Chautauqua art show and fund raiser

The paint below was a collaborative work by 16 artists at the show. (I painted the sides)
It was raffled off at the close of the show on Sat. and the proceeds went to the Friendship House in DeFuniak. The House provides meals and activities for people with special needs. See below for more details. Close to 1000.00 dollars was raised between donations, the painting and concession sales.

Friendship House

Located in DeFuniak Springs, the Friendship House provides a warm and caring environment during the day for adults with special needs. Respite care or full-time day care is available, with breakfast, lunch, and snacks prepared on site. Each Client has an individual Care Plan, which is developed with family input, to provide for maximum potential in cognitive, physical, and social areas. Available activities include exercise, crafts, gardening, bird watching, photography, and quiet time. A large yard with white picket fence provides a safe and attractive area for outside activities. Visitors are welcome, and with advance notice may enjoy a meal with our “family”. The daily rate of $45 includes all meals and services. An hourly rate and a full-time monthly rate are also available. The Friendship House is located at 353 Juniper Lake Road, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32433.
